Here is the *snapshot* of the order I placed at TGC for my prototype of "Tradewars - Homeworld" (Prototype #8)...

Creating games is a *pricey* endeavour! This still excludes the 30+ page rulebook and the game mat used to keep track of money and health!!!

What type of components (and rough quantities) does this order include, if not the rulebook and game mat?

Here is the list of game component (for Prototype #8):

  • 60 Dual-sided Upgrade cards
  • 5 Galactic Achievement cards
  • 4 Scenario/Objective cards
  • 3 The Derelict cards
  • 1 Game Reference card
  • 1 Screen card
  • 5 White dice d6 16mm
  • 5 Black dice d6 16mm
  • 1 Blue "Initiative" dice d6 16mm
  • 5 Wooden cubes (Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, Blue)
  • 1 Game box with insert

What is excluded is 1 Game mat and 1 Instruction rulebook.

Obviously if you want to play four (4) players, you need FOUR (4) game sets... It's how I have managed to drive the price down to a reasonable amount. Otherwise the game would be un-publishable!
