Cross chess w/ stratego and you get Pawns.

Though most of my games are party oriented, I think that there is a small audience for this. Basically each pawn has a unique, hidden special ability. So I need eight individual special abilities.... here is what I have so far.

1. Paratrooper. This pawn can move to any open space on the board.
2. Bomb. If this pawn is on the second rank, any peice capturing it is removed from the game.
3. King

How about:
5. Double move. The pun may move twice in a turn.
6. Move backward. The pun is allowed to move both forward and backward. The move backward is as if it was a pun of the opposing color.
7. Reincarnation. At any time you may substitute the pun for a piece you have already lost.
8. Jump. The pun is allowed to jump over any other figure and in doing so may move two spaces forward instead of one.
