Hello everyone!
My name is Markus and I am running a board game blog with my girlfriend. We are taking photographs and writing reviews relating to the components used in the games.
Sadly, we are not that great photographers, writers nor game designers. When starting out we didn't think that the game design aspect would be of importance, but we've grown into enjoying to analyze them from that perspective more than we initially thought.
That's why we want your help! We want to learn about game design and get our reviews critically judged. Primarily because we think that's the best way to learn and improve.
So far we've reviewed four board games:
Carcassonne Winter
Patchwork
Pandemic, and
Takenoko
Please let us know what you think and give us your thoughts on how you would have reviewed these games from a component perspective. Please, also include anything that you think we've gotten wrong and anything you think we've missed. This is probably asking for a lot, but it would mean a lot to us to get the help from you designers! :)
(At the risk of shamefully promoting our own blog, here's a link: https://boardgamecomponents.wordpress.com)
Best wishes,
Markus
