Is there a list of publishers that are based in the UK? If not, could we start compiling one on here?

Well I don't live in the UK so...
You would have to compile your OWN list and Private Message (PM) me the list and then I could add it and monitor it every now and then for accuracy. You do understand that because I am NOT in the UK, there is no way for me to look for UK Publishers... That responsibility would fall on YOU... Once you've done all the "Heavy Lifting" and submit to me the list, I can add said information to our current resources.
That's the best that I can do... Because I am not in the UK or have many other members in the UK either. I think we have 2 or 3 semi-regulars that are in the UK (and not in Australia, we've got like 3 or so Australian members).
So if you feel up to producing an initial LIST ... We can then watch every now and then to see if the Publishers are still in operation or when a member confirms that one of the links is broken or invalid ... We can then update the information.
There is no real process or maintenance done. It's all peer-related ATM.

Waddingtons
The one I know off the top of my head is Waddingtons. They've published some card-and-dice games recently, including Lew Pulsipher's Hastings 1066, and both the game and the quality of components are excellent. I was recently notified that they have a KS campaign running right now, which is how I was reminded of them.

I am not based in the UK so like questccg I'm of limited usefulness in this area. But I hope this tidbit is useful. :)
