Hey, guys!
We are new in board games creating and now our team is actively working on our first game. It's so great and exciting. But now we have a difficulty and we're looking for an advice. We can't put our project on Kickstarter directly from Israel, where we are. Who can advise us a good mediator?
Maybe someone used such services and can give us some recommendations? Or share your experience?
We'll be very grateful and much appreciate for every reply and information on the subject.
[Kickstarter] Mediator for the KS campaign
Martin Looij from Keep Exploring Games helped a fellow countryman of yours Kickstart a boardgame. He might be able to help you too.
(Full disclosure: I help him out on a regular basis.)

I'd be super careful about that. I THINK you need, effectively, a real company that does the kickstarting from that country. There probably exist companies that do this. BUT you should be as clear as possible in your KS description that you're designers in Israel working with a company in Canada or the US or wherever. DON'T make it look at all like you're trying to hide that. I've seen projects where the comment page is filled with speculation about who's really working on a project and whether they can be trusted to complete it.
There was a time where Jame Mathe was offering to simply manage a KS for people "outside" the USA. His fee was 5% at that time and I was interested because I was in Canada and the whole CAD to USD had not yet been developed.
You can TRY to connect with James and see IF he would be willing to do this as a "minor" favor for you and your team. I'm not saying he will say YES, I'm just saying you can drop him a line (e-mail) and ASK...
He may be willing to help your game publishing company ... and if he does this, to my knowledge is because he chooses to help not that it is a service he offers to everyone and anyone.
So why not send him a message and see what his response is?!
BTW he may have other resources (people) who might offer such a service even if he no longer does. He's one of the industry's Giants and he knows a lot of people... So either way you may benefit from simply reaching out to him.
Cheers and best of luck(?!) with your project!
Great!
Thanks so much for your reply!
