Would you rather buy 4 player or 6 player based on price?

So we're developing a board game that will support 6 players.

Would you rather buy a 4 - player game for less money with an expansion pack for two more players as an option to add on later;

OR

A 6 player game all in one box?

I'm producing through TheGameCrafter so I guess I could offer both options. Thoughts?

I can rarely get 4 people together for a game, much less 6, so a cheaper 4-player game would suit me better.

More important: I should be able to play with just 2.

As long as the cost increase

As long as the cost increase is marginal I prefer the up to 6 players if the game is well suited for it.
