Hello! My name is Chris and I'm from the east coast in the U.S. I love board games and have become more interested (obsessed) with the hobby over the past 6 or 7 years.
Recently, I have wanted to explore and learn more about game design. I am working with a couple friends on taking one of my ideas and making a board game. It has been a learning experience so far, but fun!
I am sure I will learn a lot from the others in this forum and hopefully I can add something to the community!

I had to overcome a bit of a "theft!" mentality to start posting details online (here and elsewhere), but that's really not an issue, and you come out much better off the more information you give (both here to get feedback, and elsewhere to start getting support and buzz)
If you don't mind my asking, what part of the East Coast? (I'm in Mass, though I would never say I was from the East Coast, so I'm guessing somewhere south of here :) )
Yeah, I am finding it intimidating every time I show my ideas and do a playtest session. I just did my first one with strangers the other day. It went well and I learned some stuff, so I consider that a success.
I don't mind you asking. I'm from the D.C. area.
