Hi everyone,

My name is Nathan McNair, I'm the President and founder of Pandasaurus games (www.pandasaurusgames.com).

We're a new indie-publisher with big goals. Our first game is one of my own design, though I'm hoping to move away from the design process and more into the realm of publishing others work.. because I've made a very significant discovery. Running a business and designing games both take way too much time to reliably do both.

Welcome

What's with the name Pandasaurus? Sounds like some dna experiment when a little boy and a little girl got to decide which 2 animals to mix together.

A shame you aren't looking for party games... I have one that's ready!

I actually love party games,

I actually love party games, it's just a totally different market. I would have to work with different distributors and marketing, etc etc. I initially wanted to have two lines of games. A "hobby" side for super nerds like myself and a "family" line for party/lighter games.

The problem is despite being board games there is very little overlap between the two worlds on the business side. So, I had to make a call and I went with where I feel I have the most knowledge and have made the most connections.

Self publishing seems like the way to go until you realize running even a small publishing company is a full time job. That's why www.pyromythgames.com has switch from publishing to being a design studio.

Welcome to the BGDF.
