Hey there folks
Having growing up in various rural parts of the Prairie provinces in Canada, games like Crokinole and Cribbage were pretty core entertainment on a variety of cold winter nights. Later in life, getting introduced to more modern games, like Settlers of Catan, and the new War on Terror, the story telling potential of board games is something I've been finding incredibly novel and exciting.
Attempting to figure out how to create engaging multiplayer cooperative games has been a challenge I've been working on for a while now and I'd really love to connect with others who are working on developing both strategy games and more German-style scenario games, in order to bounce ideas and get tips.
More of a "go" guy than a "chess" guy myself, I'm particularly interested in those games that encourage non heirarchical strategy and collaboration between players (possibly on teams).
