In two weeks, I will have been part of the BGDF family for six years! Over that time, I've assisted a number of designers with their fledgling titles and happy to see them published or on their way to publication ~ Warpgate by our own Artyom Nichipurov and TradeWorlds by BGDF's own moderator/admin, Kristopher Kycia. As you no doubt saw the Professor's Lab banner, I wanted to reintroduce myself to those who know me and introduce myself to those new to the site.
While I've provided editing/proofreading and playtesting service for more than eight years, I've finally made the leap and created a website for potential clients. The website, http://professorslab.com provides transparent information regarding Services & Rates, Testimonials from previous (and current) clients, and an easy to contact me. Everything begins with a conversation. If you need assistance, please reach out to me.
Finally, I remember well my roots and all BGDF members receive 10% off any service. All the best and stay creative!
Cheers,
Joe
Professor's Lab
There's not one successful game on the market which hasn't gone through a rather rigorous development process. I've even joked with designers such as Isaac Childress at a micro-convention we attend every year together. He designed AND developed Founders of Gloomhaven. It's a fine game, but there are some rather obtuse rules which wouldn't have survived an outside developer's perspective.
While I've accepted my last client for 2020, currently at six slots per year, I always accept newcomers to chat with me and discuss their games. In this way, we see if we're a good fit for them and we're able to provide what they need in the process, as well.
The BGDF community is where I started this journey and I'll always be here!
