DOH!
I have been away from my own gaming projects, and the board game world for a little while. I had been focusing heavily on promoting my comics and lost track of things! I'm trying to catch up on all that has gone on here on the BGDF, not to mention getting all my game designing/production back on track!
In my absence, I have totally forgotten the name of this really cool game that I remember first hearing about here on the BGDF. And was wondering if someone could provide the name of the game if I provide some details.
What I remember most is that the game was abstract strategy, of sorts, but that all the pieces were colored geometric wood shapes. This was actually the style that the designer used for all his games. I think the game involved building up towers, and topping them off with little pyramids. I believe the designer also did a game about a volcano... and now that I think of it, the game may have been tied into growing grapes.
Sorry... I realize that is not the greatest description. I know the game was mentioned on here alot, and apparantly the designer was getting some serious "props" for his design. I foudn his games to be really interesting and wanted to check them out again (and very likely purchase them as well).
Thank you!
