From discussing one of Jwarrend's games with him (Har!- see his journal), I got to thinking of some mechanics for it, but they took the game in a direction he didn't want to go. I think the basic idea of the mechanics is good, and it may or may not fit in with some other mechanics I was talking about for a cooperative yet competetive game idea (see Coopetition in a Tile Laying Game entry in my journal).
So, I'm asking, does anyone think these ideas have potential? Go together? Can you think of a good theme to tie into?
I'm open to any suggestions.
