I'm trying to think of a way to time very quick turns, say 20 seconds. DOes anyone Know where to get those stop clocks they use for chess?
Better yet I was thinking of a design of an hour glass that counts 20 seconds, but it has the ability to reset instantly. I think it could be done with a sliding part perpendicularly through the center of the hour glass. The sliding part would have a small hole, for timing, and a large one for a quick reset. Has anyone seen something like this?
The game it will be used for needs to have very quick turns so having to wiat for the hourglass to reset isn't possible. Is there a simpler method of timing that I'm not thinking of? I don't want someone having to keep track of everyone's 20 seconds on their watch.
