I am working with the creator of the “The Game of Law School.” When originally released in the ‘90s, the game received enthusiastic reviews and was acclaimed a ‘top 100 game.' The game was produced in a board-game version (sort of a law-themed Trivial Pursuit concept), and was sold by major retailers nationwide until all inventories were completely sold-out.
With the current popularity of all-things-legal, both real life and fiction -- exemplified by the audiences of Court TV, Law and Order, CSI and their progeny -- we believe that the time is right for re-release of this game, but with a few adjustments, like a new title that omits any reference to “school” so that it is targeted to a broader audience.
The creator of the game is Jim Charles, an attorney, who formed a company (Charles Game Concepts, Inc. or CGCI) to develop and market the game. His original concept was a game designed to appeal to everyone, not just to the legal community. So, the originally developed content works as well today for a broader market as when it was developed in the ‘90s – but enhancements as discussed above could really lead to something great.
We are looking for a publisher or other company interested in working on a re-release of the game, perhaps as a PC version.
If anyone is interested in more information about this game, please let me know your contact information and I can send you details about the game and its history. Even if not interested, but you can point us in the right direction for someone or some company that might be, we would like to hear from you too.
Thank you in advance.
