My 1st Blog entry is my intro of sorts.
Why am I here?
Well, specifically, I was looking for some sort of transparent plastic chit holder that would accommodate 2-4 chits, on their edge, in order to turn a hexmap wargame into a double-blind, hexmap wargame. I'm still looking.
I'm, primarily, an hexmap wargamer with a special affinity toward D&D, Panzer General, and Sid Meier's Civilization & Railroad Tycoon series. But I also play a wicked game of Scrabble and Pictionary.
While I've learned all sorts of games I prefer those that require intelligence and strategy and those that are too fun to worry about using intelligence and strategy.
I'm just getting into Eurogames but don't have an overall good impression of them, so far. The euphoria over Eurogames seems a lot like the euphoria over modernism. But, hey, some like Kool-Aid; some don't.
I recently discovered Wil Wheaton's "TableTop" vids and discovered I'd probably love playing Munchkins.
