Price Adjustment

We were just hit with a significant price increase on the paper we use to wrap boxes and chipboard products like boards and chits. Normally we would just eat that cost until our next price increase, but we don’t have any immediate plans for more increases.

This price increase is large enough that it means we’d be losing money on several products if we don’t raise prices now. As a result, we applied this new price adjustment today. It raises the price of boards, chits, tiles, and 2 piece boxes. It does not affect cards, mats, booklets, or tins.

We are sorry about the lack of notice, and the fact that it’s happening right after another change. In the last 15 years we’ve always tried to give advance notice before an increase, but this was unexpected. As always, thanks for your understanding and support.

Our team is now reaching out to other paper mills in the hopes that we can find better pricing. We’re also investigating a separate type of paper process that might allow us to lower prices. If at all possible, we’d like to reverse this price increase, but as of today we don’t have a replacement.
