After a 7 year run, The Game Crafter has decided to discontinue the Large Pro Box. The Large Pro Box served us well in the early days when The Game Crafter did not have a lot of options for packaging, but its inability to be fully printed is no longer representative of our customer’s needs and desires, especially when there are great alternatives available.
There are several alternatives you can consider to replace the large pro box. The two main alternatives are the Large Retail Box and the Large Stout Box. Both are fully printed. The Large Retail Box has been out for several years and measures 11.75 x 9 x 2 inches. The Large Stout Box was released just before Christmas 2018, comes in several different configurations, and measures 11 x 11 x 3 inches.
If your game doesn’t use a board and doesn’t fill the large pro box then we’re also happy to report that we will have a couple new boxes for you to choose from over the next few weeks. Those are the Medium Stout Box which will measure 8.75 x 5.75 x 2 and the Deck Box which will measure 3 x 4 x 8 and is suited to games that are made exclusively from cards.
We have enough materials to keep manufacturing the Large Pro Boxes for the next 1 to 3 months, depending upon volume of orders. After that we’ll discontinue them and they will no longer be available on the site. Therefore we will unpublish all games that contain the Large Pro Box. So, if you currently have games published on The Game Crafter shop and they are using a Large Pro Box then you should change to a different box as soon as possible.

What will happen to games that AREN'T changed to a different box? Will they be listed as "parts missing" and unavailable for order on a certain date?
Deck Box ... Is this a NEW box too(!?)
Hello Tavis,
Is the "Deck Box" a NEW "The Game Crafter" (TGC) box?? I have never heard of such a box ... so my assumption is that it must be new too.
Please confirm. While browsing TGC online, I could not find a reference to this box in the "Box" Product Category.
