I can't tell. Is that a spot at the bottom for writing in a coach name? If so, you need a white or gray space so the person can write using an ordinary pen. I think it is a brilliant design move to have the customer deface their copy of a game in some way as it depreciates the resale value, which influences aftermarket sales and value as a collectible. Risk: Legacy is spectacular in that way.

I've always been curious how many people pledge those options to have their name in the game. Maybe someone here has an idea. The killer is that you could end up with someone with a terribly boring name on the cards. Also, I'm not sure how other people manage it, but I would want some sort of contract that they agree to so there aren't hitches down the road. For example, will their name be featured just in the KS print run or in perpetuity, including future editions. I often wonder if the lack of legalese in many KS projects will come back to haunt people.

If people scrawl names on them though, that creates a distinct sense of them being "used," like when you bought college textbooks full of highlighter markings and pen scrawlings. This makes it more likely that new customers will seek out a new copy rather than getting theirs secondhand on eBay. People who are really into the games may also buy two copies, one for play and one to collect, because really, even anal retentive people want to name their own coaches and riders.
