Board Game Designer Workshop Contest Finals

I made it to the finals for the Boardgame Designer Workshop Contest, and was interviewed for the podcast. I'm not going to lie, I sound like a nervous chipmunk. That's what I get for using my recorder as a mic for the first time without pre-testing it.
Anyway, all of the finalists were interviewed, and we're mailing our games in to the judges to be played for last round.

Dymino Monsters

Dymino Monsters: Duel System Rule Set 1

Dymino Monsters creates by: Jesse F / Stormyknight 1976

This rule set is for players who duel with monster / creature vs. monster / creature encounters.

VICTORY CONDITIONS:

1: Opponents try to obtain the 9 hex spaces on the field (Playmat) as long as they can.

2: Deplete opponent’s draw pile to zero.

3: Strategize to win both victory conditions.

PLAYERS CAN CHOOSE THE FOLLOWING DRAW PILE STACKS:

1: 40 cards (Players are allowed to play with 40 cards of their own deck).
Can be divided for 2 players (20 cards) each.

Redrawn Villains and New Playerboards

The Unhinged

I redrew my villains for Book of Villainy. Until now, I'd been using some drawings I did in a half an hour at work. For the past few months however, I'd been practicing my drawing and getting better with dynamic poses, and I felt I could do better realizations of my villains. So I changed some of their designs, and instead of villain character cards, which I had also been using up until now, I created new playerboards. Thanks to a suggestion in my sellsheet post, I realized I could just make character specific playerboards and consolidate components.
