Hello everybody,

May I invite you to take a look at our fully translated website?

If you look closely, www.spel-maker.nl is even giving some insight in our method of creating company based board games. Perhaps we can inspire you board game designers.

Im looking forward to your feedback

If you happen to be in the neighbourhood, visit me at the Toy Fair in Nurnberg, feb 2-7.

greetings
Bas.

I took a quick look. The site is quick and easy to navigate. Very nicely done! The only glitches I noticed some small translation errors. For example, on the first page:

"We are specialized in developing and producing company board games, which use the companies own processes as starting point."

Might more accurately read:

"We specialize in developing and producing company board games which integrate the companies' processes into the play mechanics."

Or something like that.

But that's a small detail next to the site's overall polish.

Mark

Nice site, but you already know I think it is. Bas is a guest speaker in my game design course in the Netherlands. So if you're in the neigbourhood (Amstelveen -Ntherlands), don't hesitate to visit :-P

I have to say that, as cool as the site is, the thing that strikes me as the coolest are those words that are still in German. Like "GANZENBORD". How awesome is that? GANZENBORD. German may be the ultimate in cool-sounding languages.

Language aside, though, the idea of a company based on making games for and about corporate products is a good one. Best of luck, I'll spread the word when I'm able!

Edit: I talked it over with my wife, and she agrees. We're going to name our firstborn son "GANZENBORD".

An English translation you mean? Try Game of Goose (still sure you want to name your firstborn son "Ganzenbord", Hedge-o-matic? ;)

Even better! Let his Dutch peers snicker if they wish!

My dictionary translates Ganzenbord into Gänsespiel. So I guess that's the German title of the game.

Gänsespiel will be Ganzenbord's sister's name.
