Still having a hard time with the site...

I haven't been on much frequently, just because the site's acting funky on both my work and home computers (after many restarts).

a) www.bgdf.com doesn't work... it takes me to a site hosted by something called "cPanel" saying "There is no website configured at this address." bgdf.com works fine, though.

b) Clicking on any of the leftmost links on the BGDF main menu (i.e. Home, Discussion Forums, etc.) gets me the following error: 

Forbidden</p>
<p>You don't have permission to access /modules.php on this server.</p>
<p>Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

c) I have no images for the main menu on the left of the screen, just those Internet Explorer "no image found" red X thingies.

As mentioned above, I'm using Internet Explorer. My home computer is a Windows XP Home computer with the newest Service Pack installed; my work computer is a Windows 2000 computer.

Any ideas?

Yes... There is a hosts (just hosts, no extension) on your PC. Last year when our domain expired and I had such a hard time of getting it renewed, I had people add an entry to their hosts file. You were probably one of those folks. Here are the standard locations for the hosts files:

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts
Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Open the hosts file in notepad and remvoe the entry for www.bgdf.com.

it will be something like this:

124.212.26.138 www.bgdf.com

Just completely erase the line, save the file, reboot your computer and you should be good to go.

What Darke said, plus in Win2K and XP you shouldn't need to reboot (I didn't in Win2K).
