Hey fellows,

I'm bored and I've got a lot of work to do. So I'm mulling around on the internet trying to find some good message boards to read. This one is the best.

What are you guys up to right now?

I'm excited that I noticed Thought Hammer's free shipping for orders over $125. Guess where $125 of my tax return's going =D I plan on getting several lighter card games, Dungeon Twister expansion, TTR and Betrayal at the House on the Hill!

Never in my life will I have purchased this many games at once. WOO!

Sweet - I usually use my birthday and Father's Day as an excuse to put in orders with gamesurplus.com (Lancaster PA).

TTR - marklin edition is coming out soon though - and its got some tweaks you might want to read about - see Rick's great GAMA reports over at boardgamenews.com for the scoop!

Dungeon Twister - been thinking about getting this - but have not played it before - you likey??

Railroad Tycoon (someday this craving will subside!), and the buzz about the forthcoming FFG game "Reins of Power." According to FFG, in RoP each player will control a modern superpower and the domestic opposition of one other player. That sounds like fun. :)

See http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/rants.html and scroll down to the (lengthy) 3/13 - Greg section for details about RoP.

I suspect (and kinda hope) that my friend Tyler will get the Starcraft game when it comes out.

Just got and tried the new Fury of Dracula. It's very cool. Long, but cool.

I just bought it, it looks really great, i guess it could be a bit dry like chess.

Tried to play it with my girlfriend, but after 5 minutes she said, this is not a game for me. Fantasymeets chess sort of.
Beatiuful mechanics, but not for the casual gamer, since the best player will win, you could play with handicap though.

The quality of the pieces sucks, watch out otherwise you will endup with torn pieces.

Dungeon Twister is pretty cool, though I haven't got to play it as much as i'd like. Its a good game for devising interesting tactics etc, and its pretty quick, unless you play against over-analysing freaks... A timer would be good for this actually...

I'm hanging out for Warrior Knights, looks gorgeous and even though I've only played the original version once, this looks ilke it has some spunky mechanics that I can learn from.

I have to resist buying new games, but I have been getting all sorts of old stuff from eBay, which is fun, but I doubt will get much play... Most of my gaming recently has been to playtest my own stuff, though I think I am going to have to bring out some 'Real' games so that I don't lose my playtesters ;)

Ah, also going to get in some games of Junta soon, which should be fun, muahahahaha!

What's exciting me right now is the prospect of Xaquery gloating up a storm when he announces that he bitch-slapped me soundly in the "Outside Lime's Victory Tour" round of Tikal we're just wrapping up.

HA!

Well I was just answering the call to justice. The gang called me up late one stormy night and said "Hey man we need you. You are the only one that can beat the great and powerful Lime and he is getting just a bit too cocky for his britches." Yeah, “britches” that’s what they said. Honest.

So I am just glad I can help when my fellow gamers are in need.
