Hello all. I've just developed a site where you can download new board game versions of Axis and Allies for FREE! All maps are hand-drawn with their own rules, production lists, new technologies, new units, new national advantages, and new countries.
New scenarios include:
Vietnam - 1969
What if the US invaded the North to force them to sue for peace? Would things have been made better or worse?
Flashpoint: KOREA - 2009
The North pushes South and all nations in Southeast Asia are involved.
Operation: Iraqi Freedom - 2003
Baghdad fell to the Coalition in 3 weeks. Could Iraq have held out or would their fate be sealed again? From deadly suicide bombers to Shock and Awe, the fight is on!
The Balkans - 1999
NATO air strikes fail to stop the Milosovic government's ethnic cleansing of Kosovo. A gound war is in the process of starting. Who will win the powderkeg that is the Balkans?
World War III – 1988
After a bloody border skirmish Soviet and Warsaw Pact forces push into Germany along all fronts. With over 20,000 tanks in Europe and over 1 million men under arms, NATO forces are in for a fight for their very existence.
World War III: Arctic Front – 1989
Coming Soon!
Check it out and let me know what you think! Go to:

For all word documents, just "save as" and open them from your computer. They do not open over the web itself.
Feedback always welcome on new maps I can create.
Thanks,

The Axis and Allies ruleset works excellent for the Axis and Allies board, and when you are making variants you should keep in mind why it works so well.
I would bet that Flashpoint: KOREA makes a much more exciting game than Operation: Iraqi Freedom, although they both tighten the width of the battlefronts from standard A&A. Korea retains some of the global nature of A&E, with production distanced from fronts and a naval assault could simply circumvent the DMZ. Iraq, though, I feel would devolve into dice rolling and massive crunches of units. I'm not sure what I think about Vietnam, but it seems it will turn into a naval crunch because there are so few naval spaces and they are very valuable. WWIII looks like classic A&E, and the Balkans seems like it is set up for some (fun) chaotic play.
Looking quickly at your rulesets, they seem suitable adaptations, and the map graphics are well done. Clairity is key with maps, and yours are clear and vivid.
All in all, I liked them and will try them out. sorry if I just posted my concerns, but I figured those would be more useful to you.
Edit: It bothered me unduly for some reason that the suicide bombers would be called terrorists. During the war, they are just soldiers in the same way any kamakaze unit is: their goal is the distruction of the enemy war engine. After the war is when they become terrorists. There is no longer any hope of destroying the war engine, so they attack morale (of troops and back at home) with "terror" attacks.
