A while ago there was a discussion where several people mentioned they would love to find a source for wood hexes. I found one:

They are listed at the very bottom of the page.
The hexes are 2" across and 1/4" thick. I just got some in the mail today.
Due to slight discrepancies in each piece, I'd say they are fair -- not great, but not too bad. They will certainly be good for prototypes, though I don't know if they are good enough for production.
In addition, this manufacturer also makes custom wood shapes in small quantities. I haven't had this done yet so I cannot report on their quality at this time.
