Hey all. Over a year ago, I was on here talking about my concept for a segmented ruler that allowed for greater degree of turn control in naval wargames.

It occurred to me that some may be interested to see the final result.

I was never satisfied with move turn move methods in naval wargames. This method isn't 100% better than that method or the template method, but it does give the most control while still maintaining a natural curve of a ship fighting inertia to turn. More agile ships have a higher Course rating, allowing them to use the segments with more degrees of turn.

Interesting - looks like a unique way of dealing with turning. Also the other pics (ship designs) are super cool.

It would be embarrassing to say how many revisions went into that little design, hah. The game has a few mechanics I'm proud of, but that one I feel is the most unique.

This weekend I'm going to try to make a video to show it in action.
