So when designing an effect for a card or whatever and it reads something like this

"once per turn you get extra hp ect ect" It is basically meant for your turn only since its on your card, so will that confuse players thinking per turn means per each players turn? so my turn, effect activates, your turn effect activates my turn effect activates ect ect

saying something like once per turn on your turn only or something like that, that is too much to read on a card even though it states that it is for your turn only and players will automatically know what it means

Once per turn shouldn't really confuse players it should be obvious

Try to evade ambiguity as much as possible. You wouldn't believe how people can misread your intentions at times.

In this specific case, why not "Once during your turn" ?

Definitely spell out "your

Definitely spell out "your turn only" unless there is a very explicit rule in the game that you only take actions during your own turn or something. A turn can be anyone's turn so that would be my assumption (at least given the lack of context here, not having read your rulebook).

Being exact about timing

The description should be precise, such as "the beginning of your turn" or "immediately after your combat phase" or similar, which takes a little more room but won't seem redundant.

Be very careful with

Be very careful with "beginning of turn" effects though.

As long as there is only one thing that can happen at the beginning of your turn you are safe. As soon as there are two... eventually players will disagree about what order they can/may/must happen in, unless very carefully spelled out somehow.

If the rules make it clear that players can choose any order that might work for a while, but in my experience with enough expansion cards added to a game eventually you will see players confused about ordering of things because things affecting each other in weird (or game-breaking) ways.
