Anybody know of any games which fall under this umbrella?
By semi-coop I mean players have some shared resources and shared goals, and thus "the game" can win if they all fail, but each player also has individual goals that might be counter to eachother.
...one of the games i've been working on for a while takes and idea from the Kim Stanley Robinson "Mars Trilogy" and pits some players against others in terms of terraforming. Some of them want to leave the planet natural (and live in bubble cities) and others want to terraform the heck out of the place. Additionally, some colonists lean one way or the other, so getting people who are happy with the state of terraforming in your cities is key...
