Has a "Deck of Towns" for RPG's ever been done?

Greetings!

For the RPG players here, have any of you ever seen a deck of towns/cities? Kind of like the critical roll decks or spell cards you can get for different classes, but for towns. Maybe supplement with a deck of historical features, a deck of shops and what they sell, a deck of geographical features, etc.

I feel like this is a perfect niche Kickstarter project for myself that has low complexity and a good demand. Whenever I DM a campaign, I always spend way too much time trying to figure out what a city is like and what the PC's can buy there.

Thanks in advance!

Not that I've seen but there

Not that I've seen but there are more than a few books with random tables for generating them on the fly.

Whether it's geographical details, city sizes, specific inhabitants or shops... I've seen it all in various shapes and sizes.

Maybe there is more of a market for card version but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I've seen and used all

Yeah, I've seen and used all those tables in the GM books, Ultimate Campaign books, etc., but having it in card form seems super helpful (like having spell cards).

Do you think people would like it even if there was no individualized art per town? I'd rather use the space on the cards for text to flesh out the town's/city's features.

A deck is useful if you’re

A deck is useful if you’re dealing from it. I suspect a booklet is better for rarer stuff like town, especially since you can count on your players to have a d20 or d100 on hand. And especially again with no art.

What are your thoughts on a deck of shops? Something you can easily put in front of your PC's to see what's for sale, what's the cost etc.?

That makes more sense to me, particularly if your goal is to give like 5 random options.
