I am in the process of creating a new board game. It's a pretty simple airplane-type game. It's not based on any particular theme, it's just kind of like a dog fight in which to win the game the player has to shoot down the opponents airplanes.

Hvae you ever . . .
. . . played games like that before? I have tried dogfight, which was okay, but not my cup of tea.
I have a hard time believing the "not based on any theme!" What kind of airplanes does it have in it? That's probably more theme already than many games have ;)
What kind of board does it use? How is combat resolved? How do the planes move? Does it attempt to account for three dimensions?
Tell us more!
:)
Thanks for your reply.
I'm not basing on any war them or the like. It's just a simple, sort of like dogfight, but not to complicated. The game board will be approx. a 30x40 board. The combat system and movements are dice based. The planes will move in horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. The planes I am using right now are some generic planes.
The object of my game is to destroy your opponents airbase by manuevering your fighters and bombers toward your opponents base.
It sounds pretty simple enough, but I am still working out all the bugs. Again, thanks for the reply.
