Okay... So I've been doing some thinking and I came up with a concept that I had never seen or heard about. I call it "Dual Dice".

You would think the name would be "Duel" Dice and while this is TRUE... I offer an interesting challenge to the players: DUAL-PURPOSE DICE.

I know you guys have probably seen the dice with a +1/+1 kind of dice Positive Counter Dice... This was partly the SOURCE for my inspiration. And it goes something like this:

questccg wrote:
What if each die you had served two (2) roles and/or purposes??? One being NORMAL (Highest Roll Wins) and then the NEGATIVE version (Lowest Roll Wins)!

So while NEGATIVE values "weaken" a NORMAL ROLL, they "BOOST" an NEGATIVE ROLL! Also with two (2) dice face "sections", it is possible to use the POSITIVE side, the NEGATIVE side and BOTH COMBINED.

I don't think I've seen anything LIKE this BEFORE TBH. Would appreciate any Feedback/Comments/Thoughts/Concerns concerning "Dual Dice". Cheers!

Note #1: If you have seen something FAMILIAR please let me know. I am thinking about starting to work from a STANDARD D6 and see how it can be tool-ed to implement "Dual Dice".

I'm still working on the Custom D6 ...

And some rules concerning the faces. What I seem to be getting is values between (1 & 3) and (-2 & +2). It's very interesting because I only need six (6) sides to make the "custom" D6. And it allows a fair amount of VARIANCE but doesn't "perfectly" work as a STANDARD D6.

This is regrettable because I had hoped that you could use the DIE "AS-IS" like a normal D6. But it's off by a couple values (darn it...)

Would have been EPIC if it could SUPPORT standard D6 play. Oh well, it's NOT perfect...

Like I said it's pretty darn CLOSE (But "close" is only good in horseshoes and hand grenades)! Man... would have been SO AMAZING if it could mimic a standard D6 while being CUSTOM at the same time... I'm re-working it and seeing if I can make it STANDARD-compatible with the custom bit...

Let you all know about my progress...

With some "fudging around" it works as a STANDARD D6...

But it offer a bunch of OTHER possibilities TOO! Namely even IF the *NEW* version of the die NOW works like your typical D6 ... It does a whole bunch of CUSTOM probabilities and STATS beyond it.

Why I WANTED it to "offer" the standard D6 ... Is because it makes the dice more readily useable for many people. If "AT IT'S CORE" it's a standard D6 ... well then customization just ENHANCES the VALUE of the die!

Some statistical information:

Average (Mean) #1: 1.5
Average (Mean) #2: 2.0
Average (Mean) #3: 0.83
Average (Mean) #4: 3.5 (Standard D6)

The only one that is a BIT "out-there" (in left-field) is #3...

It would have been nice had it been "1.0" TBH! Again not perfect... But very close to having all "nice" mean values.

(Darn it again... "Close but no cigar")

Hahaha... I could pretend that Average #3 doesn't exist!

One of my ideas is to "DROP" the 3rd Average (the one that doesn't work in terms of "nice" numbers). It could be like an "undocumented feature"! I don't have to include it... The dice already are AMAZING enough TBH...

Averages: 1.5, 2.0 and 3.5

That's already pretty cool enough. Thoughts???

I wanted to START with a "standard" D6 and go from there...

The "fudging around" has made the standard D6 possible. That was Step #1. Having a standard D6 which when rolled offers you the correct values.

Next Step #2 was to offer an Average of 0.67%. I can do this with a special rule. Much like DIVISION BY 0 is undetermined, a Blank Face = 0 as a value. It's like that rule, in that no MATH can be applied, the VALUE = 0.

This makes both the POSITIVE and NEGATIVE die rolls work together. Giving reasonable Face Odds.

Now Step #3 offers two (2) Additional Averages (Means) 1.5 and 2.0. Although the Face values are a little "unpredictable" ... The means is the real key. You're not expected to understand the Face Distributions only the AVERAGES (and the statistical output).

As a NOTE, Step #2 is the most important when doing computation using the dice. That Blank Face rule is an IMPORTANT one (and it's sort of a way of handling the "exception"). Again because the dice are NOT PERFECT, this was a way to "work-around" the inequality in values. And gives more even probabilities and outcomes.

More on some of the probabilities

Okay so our "fudged" Blank value = 0, with the 0.67 Average (Mean) ... Yields two possible interesting outcomes:

1. Highest Roll : 50% = 0, 33% = 1, 16% = 2.
2. Lowest Roll : Reversed odds... 0 = 50% now to beat.

3. Negative Roll: Like the Highest Roll but Inverted (minus).

4. Standard Dice: 1 to 6, 3.5 Average roll (equally likely).

Those are some outcomes for the "Dual Dice".

Intransitive Dice

I haven't done much deep thinking at all about adjusting the sides on dice to manipulate probabilities of various results. But plenty of other people have. I did a bit of looking round for other examples of two six-sided dice that provide a varied result, and I could have sworn I'd heard about them before. The closest I could come to this was a trio of dice known as Miwin's Dice, a form of intransitive dice.

Scores of mathematicians have tinkered with the distribution of numbers on the sides. I seem to be unable to find pairs of dice that do the things you mention here, and all materials I could uncover on intransitive dice show examples of three dice used together. Wikipedia's entry on intransitive dice is found here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intransitive_dice

Hopefully this is helpful to you in coming up with some way to sort out your dual dice challenges...

I can't really follow

You are pretty vague from my standpoint.

How do the dice look like?

1-2-3-4-5-6?
Just d6?

And is it [highest - lowest]?
Be carefull, anydice can't calculate certain aspects of mechanics correctly.

If I calculate highest-lowest. The value's range from 0 to 5 with an average of 1.9444

They are *SPECIALLY* designed dice

So first of all, I got these dice partially from a "dream". I was dreaming about someone's game and then there were these "dice". The "dice" were not like regular dice, they had special attributes and DESIGNs on the faces...

When I post up the sample of the dice on "The Game Crafter" you can all have a look. For about 30 minutes, I was serious about making a Kickstarter for the dice alone. But then I realized: "Who is going to buy into custom dice when they don't have a game for them?"

This led me to the conclusion that I should create the "Design Asset" on TGC so that people can SEE the "design" and MAYBE use it to create one or more games for these dice.

The dice have simple RULES that help distinguish and understand the rolls. I have to produce the samples (photos) and cut-file (SVG) for the dice. It's going to take some time until I get samples and TRY them out.

You'll see when I am done... With the DESIGNs. They are very SPECIFIC. I'm actually surprised on how I REMEMBER the "details" of the dice so vividly... Usually I remember certain aspects but to "reproduce" what I have seen is impossible. In this case, I remember quite well the way the dice look and their RULES. Like I said, I'm a bit surprised as to how well I can remember the dice...

I think it's because the LAST "detail" from the dream was me holding up one of the dice in my hand and LOOKING at it. And that image explains how the dice look and what rules they follow. And I also remember the GAME for which the dice were designed for... I looked it up and found that they use NORMAL D6s... Which is WEIRD because in MY dream they were using "Dual Dice"!

Yeah it sounds a bit mysterious... But when I design the DICE and show samples... You'll better understand. I'm being "VAGUE" for a reason... Once I make the "archive" and make it available, you'll be able to see samples of two dice.

In any event, I don't see anyone using these dice immediately. But much like Fudge/Fate Dice or an extra D6 in a poly set, I plan to make these dice available to all... The DESIGN is pretty cool. And the RULES are pretty simple too. But you may not GET that it's a STANDARD D6 ... Unless you are told or explained how the dice work.

Like I said, they're pretty NEAT! Never seen anything like them before.

Note #1: I may simply make some dice and promote them for the game that I saw using the dice. IDK. But because these are DESIGNER dice ... You might looking at the dice NOT understand how they work. That's why I said you need one or more games USING these dice and their odds/statistics ... Once this is accomplished... Maybe then I can make a Kickstarter for the dice.

Right now, although the dice are REALLY COOL looking, there's no NEED for them ATM. So because of this, no doubt in my mind the KS would fail as people would not understand where the dice can be used!

No understanding = no adoption = failed KS.

So I'm going with "Designer Assets" on TGC. I've got some extra ideas about the dice working the day yesterday... They are unique and pretty cool too!

Note #2: Also remember that I had to "Fudge/Fix" the dice layouts because there was an "imperfection" also. Also I said the "dream" was only part of the inspiration, I have seen other dice that behave similarly (but for another purpose entirely - nothing like "Dual Dice")...

The DESIGN has some options too

That's another point that I am working on: the "Dual Dice" can have different options in terms of what they look like. Yes I have a "vivid" vision of what they look like. But at the same time, there are options with the dice too... The "design" isn't entirely FIXED.

And that's why I say my "inspiration" comes from at least three (3) different sources: 1> The Dream. 2> Custom Dice I have seen before. 3> Some specialty dice which have fixed purposes...

There are of course other "variables". The colors and coordinating with the dice different types of dice (my dice have names like: Fury, Neo, Fleet, Solar, Heat, Frost, Snow, Alien, Royal and Peach...) These were the names that I was working on YESTERDAY. And have to do with "color combination and/or matching". Because I became serious as to the fact that I could MAYBE KS the dice...

But my conclusion in the end was: "If nobody understands what the dice are for, even if they are different and COOL... I don't think people will spend money to simply buy them?!" Maybe if some GAME or a couple games not too well known use the DICE as "marketing"... Maybe then I can LAUNCH a KS for these "custom" dice.

I wouldn't make a lot... Dice projects typically earn about $10,000 USD from what I have seen. But still... I'm happy with a $20 Ad Banner! To me everything helps.

Anyhow, ATM I am looking for "shortcuts" in the design. How to make it FIRST and then "perfect" the design later (v2.0). Of course if I had them made in China they would be AMAZING!!! But I'm not willing to invest in a design which like I said is "un-proven".

By my estimates ... It will depend HIGHLY on one of my OWN "designs" and maybe that game in the dream... Maybe if the dice are COOL the Designer can add them to a KS as an Add-On made by me... Or some kind of small common collaborative project, IDK. TBD.

Right now (ATM) I am working on the DESIGN! Cheers.

Note #1: Also when I checked out the "game" that was using the dice in the dream... I was SURPRISED that it was using STANDARD D6s... Felt a bit BORING TBH! The "Dual Dice" add to the esthetic... So maybe there could be some kind interest in the dice... IDK... Yet!

"Fugding" with the dice a bit more...

And it's optimized my Mean = 2.0 and NOW the dice use EVEN more popular odds/distribution. And still, there is a Mean = 1.5 however TBH I don't really think the Mean will be of any value. But the 2.0 Mean is really the true BONUS... Giving these dice their purpose!

See that's the thing, I only saw like 1 Face of the "dream die".

And although I understood the RULES, I don't have a clear grasp about all of the other sides (which means "Fudging" is allow - Hahaha)!

From other dice on the market, I also see the difference and how they are in some way similar to "specialty dice" already out there.

As I said, "Fudging" the dice has let to a very interesting result... Can't wait to share these once they are ready for market!

Ordered my first set of dice

From "The Game Crafter", I have uploaded and purchased "Set #1" which features the following dice:

  • Ebony (Black on White Die)
  • Fury (Red on White Die)
  • Ivory (White on Black Die)
  • Neo (Lime on Black Die)

The dice look real COOL, I have proofed them in TGC system to see what they would look like and it's real neat to see that the "cut-lines" are correct and that the dice will be produced SOON!

Once I get the dice, I'll take a picture or two and post up what they look like on our Forum. Sorry for being so "secretive", I just wanted to keep some of the suspense about the dice.

Like I said, I should share more about them in the middle of July! Yeah, I am like in position #700 in the queue. Plus you need to add 2 weeks MINIMUM for shipping between USA and Canada.

So the concept will need to WAIT until I receive my order with the dice.

Please remember...

That I've re-worked the dice numerous times to get the "optimal" solution for these dice! And in some case "Fugding" the dice made them better. In fact they are ATM "almost" perfect and serve three (3) distinctive reasons why you should use them:

1. They are 100% compatible with your standard D6s (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

2. They offer a 2.0 Mean with the following distribution: (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3)

3. They allow with a "simple rule", 50/50 odds like a coin toss operation.

This makes Dual Dice better that using your plain old D6s because these dice are like D6s Version 2.0! There is actually no valid reason NOT to use them because they are so versatile...

The coin toss can be good for other rolls too...

Like for example rolling "1s" for something like "Betrayal at House on the Hill" where they use a bunch of dice with "1s" and blanks. Well "Dual Dice" can also "emulate" this type of dice rolling too. Again it's not 100% perfect (simple rule) ... But yeah 50/50 odds and you don't need to have very fancy "rules" either (it's actually quite simple on how you get the dice to do this too...)

Here's a preview of the Fury Dice (Sample)

As you can see a unique Designer Dice. This is the actual PNG file with extra bleed and such to ensure proper printing and cutting (SVG Cut-file).

Seeing the "Design Pattern" now probably explains A LOT! Of course I will see how they look in about 1 months time (when the sample arrives at my doorstep). And naturally, this is only 1 out of 4 Color Schemes for the 1st Set (Set #1).

Note #1: This is a Low-Resolution image but this is about about at 100% size (depending on screen sizes) at 72 DPI.

More on my "inspiration"

So while I had the "dream" with the dice a few weeks ago, I didn't really take notice of how important it was. To me it was "just a dream"... But the other day, last weekend, I was looking over at "The Game Crafter" in their catalog of dice and I saw the "Rockets" and "Specialized Counter" dice, it got me to RE-THINK my "dream"...

Now is when I started to play around with the "design/idea" and see if I could actually DESIGN something RELEVANT. I know I mention "Fudging" with the dice on several occasions and it's TRUE. In the dream, I could only see one face and it was enough to EXPRESS the "Duality" of the dice (Top & Bottom).

But that wasn't enough. I had to do calculations, fine-tune things a bit in order to get to the point you are now seeing the dice patterns for the FIRST time...

I've already placed my order on "The Game Crafter" ... And am waiting for the dice to be delivered. I just don't want everyone to think: "He had a dream and that's how he made the dice."

Not at all. I had the dream first, ignored it... Was looking around for dice and then THAT'S when I got the idea to see if I could PERFECT BETTER D6s than the ones we currently all use.

Obviously will this replace standard D6s??? Maybe not YET. You'll probably need to see these dice in some games (collaborations) and then maybe on a separate KS (down-the-line) and then we'll see talking to some major players like "GKG" and maybe "AKO"... Who knows.

But now you understand it was not only a "vision", it was a series of events that occurred mostly while I was NOT asleep! (LOL)

Designing with purpose

If anyone wants to TRY to design a game using "standard D6s" with the added 2.0 Mean (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) and the 50/50 coin toss... Well just be aware that ATM I am only making these "Dice Design Assets" available from "The Game Crafter" (TGC).

Again, if you want to make prototypes and use TGC to prototype, that would be perfectly acceptable. If you DON'T want to manufacture with TGC but you might still want to use "Dual Dice" ... Well we can maybe negotiate things.

But ATM I am mostly interested in TGC and prototypes using the dice.

Note #1: From the look, I strongly get the impression that the design is "Naval" (like Navy Flags)... That's what it reminds me of. A lot of effort was put into making these dice. I hope that the version I get in the mail next month is "good-to-go"!

How does that COIN TOSS work???

Well the Bottom of the dice have (blank, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3) as a distribution. If you use the "simple rule" blank = 3, you have now a 50/50 die. You roll either for a "3" or a "1", in either case, the values are equally likely!

Again something SIMPLE. Not like Even = 1 and Odd = 2 or 1-3 = 1 and 4-6 = 2... Substituting the blank for a value of "3" is MUCH simpler than the other two (2) examples of rules that I've stated that COULD be used with a normal D6.

Cheers!

It's a bit funny...

I have a Custom Indented ORANGE D6 which is custom (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3)... And I realize that with "Dual Dice" I no longer need to compromise between having a STANDARD D6 and custom dice. It's literally three (3) Functions into one simple "Design Pattern"!

Anyways I've been "rolling" that Custom D6 ... Because it's served as a HUGE reminder on how to "perfect" the "Dual Dice". Anyhow ... It's cool to have another dice which has also served as inspiration for "Dual Dice".

Cheers all.

Coin Toss, etc.

Now that I've seen the faces of an example die, this idea is making more sense to me., I hope these prototypes you've designed live up to your literal dreams, quest. :)

Regarding Coin Toss: I'd look to the "bannered" half of the die face. If there's only one pip on it = heads. If there's no pip or more than one pip = tails.

Regarding Other Uses: I could also see these dice being used for simultaneous attack and defense. For example, the plain half of the die would be the attack value, while the bannered half would be the defense value. The difference between the opponents' attack and defense values is how much damage is sustained. Technically, this makes the 3-3 die face the most effective at both.

You mentioned various custom dice colour combinations and permutations of the numbers distributed between the plain and bannered halves of a die face. You really wouldn't need to limit yourself to values of 1 through 6, although this does remove the dual functionality of the dice.

Still, I wonder if that dual function is really necessary, since the gimmick or whatever regarding these dice seems to be the two halves of a single die face. Any thoughts on dice whose sides aren't the typical 1 through 6?

Believe me... It took more than the "dream" to design them. But yeah when you see them for the FIRST (1st) time... It's like "Cool!" That's the impression that I got the first time I saw them. And realize that they are not 100% like the dream. This is an adaptation for the moment. Basically how SIMPLE I could make the dice possible... The dice in the dream were VERY SIMILAR ... But I'll keep the differences for a later version (2.0 and 3.0).

let-off studios wrote:

True; that makes 100% sense. And again is a simple rule.

Well there is ANOTHER important thing: at "The Game Crafter" you CAN'T embed someone else's game or components. I've reached out to Tavis here on BGDF.com since he is the TGC representative that I deal with. I just got a kudos from him today. The other deal is that I posted on TGC Site Ideas about this "issue". So while I can make the dice accessible to people BUYING (directly - for say a prototype), someone else can't ADD the "Dice Stickers" to their OWN game. And that is a MAJOR blow...

So I added the idea to embed "Resellable" Games or Products. This would open up a "Secondary Market" over at TGC giving Designers the possibility to produce their own "Resellable" products (Stickers, Custom Cut-Outs, etc.) Giving Graphic Designers and Artists a way of making something SOMEONE ELSE can use...

let-off studios wrote:

The DUALITY is because (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) is a CUSTOM distribution that is used VERY frequently. But still adding a CUSTOM dice just for this option is REALLY POSSIBLE if you really, really, need it. But if it comes with the dice ALREADY... That's all the more powerful. Because you can have NORMAL + CUSTOM + COIN TOSS all in one dice.

And the DUALITY of the dice is Bannered vs. Regular.

The MAJOR issue is the "Secondary Market". If TGC can be convinced to go into that direction... Well then my dice have the possibility of being more popular and INCLUDED in other games... I have like a DOZEN or so combination (color-sets) matching all of the dice available.

But without the "Secondary Market" these dice will need to find A NEW home because I can't produce them for OTHER games.

It's definitely an "interesting discussion" because it makes for a NEW "Feature" (Resellable Products) and it's kind of like a NEW "economy". As I said a "Secondary Market". I think it's COOL ... But then again I'm not the owner or partner in the TGC venture...

That's a discussion that THEY can have... Once I manage to explain it in proper terms (as I did here)!

ALSO ... About your OTHER than "D6 Compatibility"... I've thought about this too... As a LEGACY COMPONENT!!! So the DICE would START OFF Standard D6s and they can get UPGRADES or PENALTIES... Because it's STICKERS (and we'll see how easy they are to put on and take off) you can maybe get away with just sticking it OVER... IDK. But the LEGACY option is still one that can be "explored" further... Making some of your dice STRONGER and other WEAKER (less than standard D6 compatibility)...

You know

In a sense, you could consider these dice to be CRT dice.

Then depending on the game rules. You do something with the results.

White minus Red or vice versa (perhaps even by choice)
White plus Red on the same die (normal)
White plus Red
White plus White
Red plus Red
Difference of white and red per die, then added up.

Stuff like that.

So, a lot is possible, with the exact same dice. You could put the rules of calculating the outcome in the game. But this might make things complicated. So in another way, you might want to have only one different way of the dice being used besided of the normal outcome.

Attack/Defense (Not perfectly balanced...)

Yes this is "interesting"... In a way you could use the dice Top for Attack and Bottom for Defense. But I don't know how "Balanced" the dice would be for that purpose. Here are the outcomes: 3/3, 2/3, 3/1, 2/1, 1/1, 1/0. The Attack side is more "Balanced".

But this is where some "Fudging" occurred. I could have had 2/2 instead of 3/1. However this would lead to the following distribution (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3)... So I "forced" the 3/1 substitution instead. To get the more BALANCED (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3)!

The other "aspect" that I mentioned was UPGRADES and PENALTIES. So while the DICE STARTS with a NORMAL D6 configuration... You can play around with the dice to add/remove points as per your game. This was the LEGACY option...

Very TRUE!

X3M wrote:

Yes your observation is very TRUE. But because of some more "Fudging" for the (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) distribution... it's 2/3 instead of 3/2. So when you do TOP MINUS BOTTOM one value is NEGATIVE (2-3 = -1).

X3M wrote:

Yes 3/3 = 0, 2/3 = -1, 3/1 = 2, 2/1 = 1, 1/1 = 0, 1/0 = 1.

You get these results: 2, 1, 1, 0, 0, -1. Which are not exactly BALANCED unfortunately. But I do think the "@let-off studio" makes a good argument for Attack/Defense... The dice are not "perfectly" balanced ... But it could be used for that purpose.

My priorities were: #1> Standard D6 compatibility #2> (1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) custom compatibility #3> The Coin Toss just seemed to be a BONUS.

CRT dice were in part a piece to the "awaken" part of designing these custom dice... Actually Positive/Negative Counter Dice which I fail to understand their purpose... Made me realize that I could design something BETTER for a completely different purpose.

How people use the dice is their business... My business is to SELL "Stickers" for the dice. Here's a another Sneak Peek into another color:

Again going with the same "Deep Red" and using CMYK Black. People love dice that are hard to read... (LOL) No seriously these colors are real hot in dice nowadays... This gives you another look what the patterns should look like.

My GOAL: is to SELL enough stickers to configure five (5) Dual Dice (one color set). You can then figure out if you need less or more color sets... More will be release soon... As dice become available (no Red or Light Blue Indented dice...!)

You could say that VALUES BELOW "0" = "0" and then you would have an INTERESTING CRT Dice: (2, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0)

That could be useful too! Especially for CRT rolls... That's also another VIABLE "alternative".

But like you said, there are all kinds of POSSIBILITIES. What matters is HOW "YOU" use Dual Dice!

These are the SIMPLEST version of Dual Dice

First the GOAL of the "design" was to make them AS SIMPLE as possible... And so the dice are a bit "different" than in the "dream". No worries like I said, I have Version 1.0 (13 different color-schemes) and then afterwards I can release Version 2.0 and then ... If all goes well Version 3.0 which would be a closer match to the dice seem in the "dream"!

But right now, the goal is to figure out HOW I can SELL the dice stickers to other Game Designers. Like you said "@X3M" there are a lot of combinations to HOW you can use the dice ... And because nothing is perfect, you can apply SIMPLE RULES (like my X < 0 = 0) which EXPANDS the ingenuity of the design itself.

All steps, one-at-time. First I've got to be able to SELL these stickers. Then if multiple games use them GREAT! That's the start of something interesting... We'll just have to wait and see...

Personally...

I think "@let-off studio" idea about Attack/Defense really gets to me... I had never thought about using the VALUE for 2 purposes. And in a way this is real NEAT ... Because ANOTHER Game Designer came up with his/her own reason to be interested in "Dual Dice".

Clearly for him, they represent TWO (2) Distinct value that occur with one single roll...

I really think that's NEAT!

I personally was more like @X3M ... Computing difference between dice, RED vs. WHITE or ALL RED vs. ALL WHITE... A lot of possibilities there too...

And so I agree with BOTH of you... And for different concepts/ideas. It would seem that these dice are VERY "versatile". Know the goal is being able to make them a reality!

Finally feel like my journey has just "re-started" after TW that's taken FOUR (4) Years+ to make.

(P.S.: We are currently in the manufacturing phase, I have yet to proof the 2nd Sample from the manufacturer).

Anyhow... We'll see how things go!

Here's the Neo Color Scheme

This color scheme is to be used with the "Black" Indented Dice ... This is MY "personal" favorite ... But we've got quite a few color combinations for whatever you want to use Dual Dice for!

There are currently twenty five (25) different dice combinations (that I have already worked out on paper). I've only got 5 done (in terms of being ready to U/L them).

Anyways CHECK back to this thread... If you want to see more samples!

Cheers.

Note #1: I have spent the last hour reviewing and revising the various Color Schemes and I am happy to report there will be in all "25" different schemes that will be available for purchase SOON.

I've got to finish of the various images used by the TGC Shop... And will wait until I get my "sample" dice and take some pictures.

We'll see what I can produce... I have some LOGO ideas too... But ATM I am a little bit "lazy" in working in Illustrator to define all my shapes and then import them into Photoshop to do the final renderings.

Again I hope to get ALL "25" Color Schemes up on TGC "as-soon-as-possible" ... ATM, I don't know when that will be. Hopefully soon (like at most 1 month). IDK... TCG are still missing Red and Light Blue dice... So I have to wait until they re-supply and I order them... So more delays...

I really spent A LOT of time thinking...

About the various Color Schemes which will be AWESOME! The dice will of course look amazing when you take a look at the various options.

And just to name a few samples such as:

  • Kiev
  • Lace
  • Mutant
  • Sunset
  • Watermelon
  • etc...

The choice will be very INTERESTING once I get the shop properly set-up with a LOGO and stuff like that. I also need to plan to work on "Crystal Heroes" too... But it's ok to take a break too.

This project is very important to me... And I want to get all of the different DICE options "out-there" for people to SEE and imagine how they can use "Dual Dice" in their projects and games!

I'm waiting for my order of dice to arrive

Once I get the SAMPLE dice ... I will take a picture and prepare the TGC store page for the dice. I'd like to see how they will look also... And lastly setup the remainder of the images and start uploading more DEMO dice for prototypes and such...
