Howdy Gerry,
it is definitely true that designers generally frown on "roll and move" because it rarely works well with intelligent decision making- it's usually used because people are used to hasbro/parker brothers/milton bradley games like monopoly. this does not mean the mechanic itself is bad, usually just the way it is implemented. the same can be said of player elimination.
however, depending on your target audience (as mentioned in someone else's post above), the impact of intelligent decisions may be much less relevant. it's hard to say without seeing the rules and the game structure. if you want to email me the rules and card/board picture files, i would have no problem testing it for a game or two with my group and giving you some feedback.

Hi schmanthony,
Thanks for your insite.
There are 4 Bank Spaces on the Board, but at present there is
a Limit of $1000.00, one time per game.
I could change that so that Player stays in the Game until
a Player Reaches 8 or more cars of a Group.
Right now to win, a Player has to have 8 or more Cars
of a Group to win,Maybe.
Just because a Player has 8 or more Cars of a Group, does
NOT mean that he is the winner.
Because All Players must Total up All cars,Money, and debt.
Someone could be Bluffing, and hold more Cars,or more
Expensive Cars.that could Put him over the top.
There are 2 Decks of 52 cards each, both with the Same
car on the inside, the Difference is ,The Auto Select Deck
only the player Sees what make of Car it is,the Top of the
the Card only Shows the Price.
Whereas the Auto Auction Card, everyone sees this Car,
so if you need it to complete your set,you will Bid on it.
But you have to be Careful, because someone may Over
Bid to stop you, then sell it to someone else.
It's a fun Game,but thats just me.
Gerry
