Hi,

I need for the Prototyp of my game plastic pieces of orcs, elves and humans. 5 diffenrent units of each race - like 2-3cm high.
I dont like to take them from allready existing games because of copyrightproblems.
I am looking for something like:
http://cgi.ebay.com/160-ps-Modern-Group-Tank-Army-Toy-Soldiers-Plastic-S...
- just with orcs, elves and humans.
Does anybody know where i find/buy such pieces.

thx

If it is for a prototype, there are never going to be those concerns. If you sell something, then such concerns would be addressed.

Hi Willi,

i want to show the Prototyp of my game at game conventions and to game publishers. Thats the reason, why i dont want to use pieces from a existing game. Platisch Pieces would nicer than paper counters.

D&D minis

or old Mage Knight figures will work fine... it's a prototype and they know designers are just going to use what is a available to them.

There are no legal worries for prototype use and most game companies are not going to say a word about using pieces from other games.

the Caesar Miniatures range

is 1:72 scale, which is what you want, and it has orcs, elves, and a variety of humans.

The page also has a link to a list of shops which sell them.

Note that many pictures show the figures painted, but they're unpainted when you buy them.

I have access to a 3D printer. Can print in full colour. Depends how much you'd like to pay and the complexity of the part. I could get you a price if you're interested.
