Wooden X's and O's can be
Wooden X's and O's can be found in games of noughts and crosses - although im not sure if the size would be suitable. You can find lots of different sets on Ebay.

The simplest solution would be to sticker some wooden discs with shape graphics, unless the physical dimensions of the different shapes is a factor.
