Hello All,

I'm so happy! It's on Alderac Entertainment Group's front page (in the middle of the 3x3 grid of games), and it has its own product page: The Isle of Doctor Necreaux.

I am totally chuffed.

(Yeah, this isn't a press release so much as me just wanting to share my happiness and let y'all know about it.)

Shucks. I asked Jim Pinto (he did the art direction), and I don't remember what the answer was. I'm talking to him tomorrow. I'll try to remember to ask him again.

Ooh! Wait a minute. I have a PDF of the rules...

Nope. I've been working on this with AEG for a while before GTS (November '08?). Hopefully GTS will lead to more projects like it, though...

I as going to ask what you're referring to, but I've realized that you're referring to the picture of the diabolical Doctor Necreaux on the box cover. Yeah, it's some kind of high-tech crystal ball.

When will the game be available? I can't say that because I really don't know for sure. I really wish I did know., but I don't. Similarly, I'm not in control of that aspect of the process. AEG can release it whenever they want to. However... if you take a look at major game conventions coming up, you can make an educated guess about a likely release date.

I really like my "handle" 'cause it sounds kind of cool and relates back to the Invisible City site. It's funny that when I make a splash, there's always *someone* who has to point out how un-invisible I'm being.

Hey, it works for me. Perhaps I'm a really poor ninja? (ie: One who does a bad job of staying hidden.)

Gaaah! (*grin*)

Funny thing is that it's so re-theme-able and expandable that it's super-simple to make expansions for. (Heck, could just make new adventure decks that use the same character cards... Hmmmnnn...) I suppose AEG will ask for an expansion if it breaks 10,000 copies in the first few months. (heh)

I read your article (in English, then in French (I'm marginally fluent in French)) and I am surprised and flattered. I was wondering how you could write an article about the game when it hasn't even been released yet. You've gathered together virtually everything I've ever said about Dr. Necreaux and what's on the AEG site and condensed it down into a very well-written article.

Thank you.

Claude

Oh Claude, I really wish I could, but I can't. Doing so would violate the terms of the agreement I have with AEG. However, you could contact AEG and ask them for a preview copy of the rules.

Wait... I have a better idea. I'll contact AEG on your behalf and ask if I can have permission to forward a copy of the rules to you. I don't expect that I'll get permission to do so, but I'm certainly willing to try.
