Hopefully I'm not duplicating anyone's post with this announcement.
Just wanted to let everyone know that the annual Global Game Jam will be allowing board game entries this year! The Global Game Jam is a 48 hour friendly competition held in a number of venues that aims to have teams create a computer game (or now board game) more or less from scratch during the 48 hour jam session.
The Jam will be running from Jan 28 to 30th 5pm to 5pm

So, is anyone from Columbus OH planning on attending? We have a local site participating, and I wouldn't want to be the only boardgamer going....
Not that I'm sure I'll be participating yet, but IF I was, I wouldn't want to be alone with all those code jockeys. :->

It didn't even occur to me to mention it! But another armchair designer friend and myself will be at Carlton University in Ottawa (Canada) probably getting all sorts of strange looks with our dolly full of (AGK!) physical components!!
