Good Luck

Good Luck and all the best with your campaign.

A word of advise, that I've seen from your interaction with the people on this site:

Backer communication is very important, but it is not a one-way street.
Don't just bombard them with information that drown out their questions. Feeling that the kickstarter creator listens to his/her backers is very important.

Listen to what they have to say and react on it, and I'm sure you'll have a very succcessful kickstarter campaign.

Good luck again!

That's the sort of

That's the sort of announcement that you'd probably want to make in the "Updates" section of your KS. Regularly posting updates, like the new art posts, etc. that you were doing here reflects a healthy development process and makes it so your backers don't have to fish around teh Interwebz for news on the project.

Game's audience

What perplexes me the most is "Who is the intended audience for this game?"

Why I ask this is because it "feels" like a Pokemon with more violence. The artwork is more graphic (in terms of implied violence) than say Pokemon. So I doubt this game is made for kids (ages 9+).

But at the same time, the manga element doesn't seem like it would appeal to adult audiences of say ages 18+. I could be wrong - but I don't think your game's intended audience is for gamers older than 18 years of age...

So I think it seems to be a teenage crowd between 13 and 18 years of age. They are older than kids and watch more graphic movies and play more violent video games (1st person shooters)... Before writing up this message - I was unsure if there was an audience at all. That's the origin of this post.

However going through the various age brackets and the style of game, manga and the duel aspect - I agree this game is well suited for teenagers. It has appeal to a younger crowd that used to like Pokemon but have grown out of the game and the older crowd who still like duel games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! might also like this game as well.

Best of luck with your Kickstarter!
