Hello all!

After 2 years of research, development, blood, sweat and tears, and a whole lotta money...
My card game "Dungeon Looter" is printed, released and ready for sale on the web. Although the game it self was printed overseas, it's origional and completely developed, designed, and distributed by myself, this truly is a dream come true for me to see the final product in hand.

Please visit http://www.dungeonlooter.com

The game contains of a 90 card deck with fantastic computer generated 3d rendered artwork, with shading and shadows! The game is played with 2-6 players (although an alternitive solo game is possible) Players hold a hand of 5 cards, and lay down pairs of matching cards to gain points associated with the particular cards. Players can also play off of other players pairs already laid down. Essentialy it is a strategy/matching game with a fantasy theme.

I am hoping to pass the word along via this board, so if you know someone that has a love for fantasy, they will trully enjoy the graphic art of these cards. The game is fun to play, has replayability and looks visually stunning! you can't go wrong!

Thank you.

Sam

PS: I am hoping this is not viewed as a blatant advertisement, that is not my intention. If this post is breaking the rules then I understand if it needs to be removed. I just wanted to share my experiences, and the pride in finally making my dream come true.

given that you're obviously proud of the artwork,

it might be an idea to have more examples of it on the site, including in the instructions.

Play it again Sam (sorry)

Hi Sam

Congratulations on achiveing your dream - you sound really pleased and I offer you the very best of luck.

As for the game itself, its not my kind of game, but i knocked up a couple card games last month(which can easily be made commercial) so i know where your comming from with it.

I like the rules being laid up so simply, if a bit long and the site is really easy to navigate, so good luck again.

P.s As for breaking rules, i don't think its a blatant advert. And I only post my link on relevant replies; but they aint made me an administrator yet!

Might have a typo in the rules...

fyi: "The player that earned twenty five (25) points in the level gains five (4) Adventure points."

I was also wondering how increasing the game length opens new strategies, as mentioned in the expert rules?

thanks for finding the typo,

thanks for finding the typo, it has been corrected.

increasing the game length is just one modification to the game that does not change the overall mechanics. It is just a suggested game tweak, the strat is pretty much the same, but since in a multi player game the level winner and the runner up both gain adventure points, with the game length extended, it introduces a little more wiggle room for points to be earned. In a regular game, a player may pull into the lead early on by winning a couple levels in a row, compared to when playing the extended game, one or two early level wins does not hold the same strength in almost clinching a win.

Hope that helps.
I am planing on making the video demo soon and will have it posted on the site, so folks can get a chance to see the actual game and the cards first hand.

Congratulations!

The game's a bit simple for my tastes, but the art is very nice, and it's always wonderful when somebody is actually successful. Nice going, sir!

thanks.
yea, the game play is pretty basic, but heck, it's my first one, perhaps in the future i will be able to build something more complex with a deeper story line, more along the role playing genre.
