Life has been crazy-busy these past few weeks, as y'all can imagine since you haven't seen me here lately.
This weekend is Protospiel South 2012 – the third occurrence of Austin's humble attempt to be as cool as Ann Arbor. I don't expect any of you to spontaneously drive/fly/swim here if you're not in Texas and you haven't already pre-registered, but if you're in Austin, Dallas, San Marcos, San Antonio, or Houston... Consider it. We have 22 pre-reg, with several more unregistered playtesters and designers whom I know will be present. Every year, I am consistently impressed with the diversity and caliber of games I see at this convention. The wealth of knowledge from the semi-pro designers in attendance is also quite valuable.
It's going to be a good time, I can tell!

Right now I'm enjoying a tremendously delicious cask-aged microbrew and laying out the name badges that I'll be laser-cutting later tonight. =D
