Hello all,
My name is Michael Rasmussen. I'm a digital artist and my cousin (End of Time Games) sugested I post on this forum and to offer my services. I can be reached @ mrasmussen10@charter.net. Or drop me a PM.
Need game illustrations?
Yes, when I saw his work I was blown away and thought board game designers out there would be interested. So I pointed him to BGDF.
Here are some samples of his work: http://www.bgdf.com/node/1524
I think he forgot to link to these but he put these on his profile.
I wish I was working on a project that suited your style and themes. Very nice.
If I come up with anything, I'll let you know.

Agreed it is top notch, unfortunately this doesn’t fit my bunny birthday tea party game very well except the second one.
Still there are plenty of people here working or fantasy themed projects.
Wow! That's some sweet stuff! I wish I could afford you..... :(
Well, fortunately my game will need art such as this. Possibly there are other things as well. If you could please contact me at xveedsx@gmail.com so we can talk :)
I don't think that because the images linked were in the fantasy vein, that the artist is a one trick pony. This one might make you think twice. http://www.bgdf.com/node/1521
You should submit your graphic design / artwork website to my directory @ MeepleSearch - Graphic Design.
I personally use this resource when deciding who to employ when I am publishing a game.
Michael
Michael, do you have a category for game illustrations?
simpson
So, if you are a graphic designer or illustrator, please submit your sites to MeepleSearch. You are more likely to be hired for a project. If not by anybody else, then possibly by me.
Michael
I had a piece that needed reworked. I really felt the style Mr. Rasmussen had was a great fit for what I was looking for. He offered me a price that was within my budget and I cannot be happier with the final piece.
This piece required some drafting skills beyond what a normal piece would have required, and he was able to deliver on that aspect as well. I had several parts of the final I needed broken off for other uses in the game, and he also took the time to provide me these as well.
I had worked with several artists in the past (on this piece) and they would either fail in style (my fault for not pegging them correctly) or couldn't deliver on the mathematics end of my needs.
Mr. Rasmussen handled both.
Furthermore, I had legal requirements that made me need full control of the piece and its display (I allowed him non-digital portfolio usage). He was even amenable to this request as well.
I can say, without a doubt, that Mr. Rasmussen is an artist that will go the extra yard to please you and get you the result you want.
If you think that he is a good fit for you, I suggest you do business with him. I think you will be pleased with the outcome. I know I am.
If anyone would like to see more rescent work, see my website. It is has my latest creations. My work on here is a bit dated.
