5 years of Pocket Sports has been, and still is great.
Just today though....I've found myself wanting to branch out into something new.
I've got a couple of ideas from the past still to work on.....but I'd like to look at 'turbo' charging some games from concept to publication to grow the brand....
Anyone else reached this point?
Looking at non sports games for a change....possibly card games.
I would like to do a series of solitaire or two player games.
In my head I have the title "Men of War". Micro games based on famous historical figures (Napoleon, Alexander the Great etc) in which players need to pass or complete pivotal moments in their lives.
The other idea is to rehash '8 Gates' and do a fantasy themed dice game...loosely using the 'control' die system of Pocket Sports that controls a party of 4 characters with varying skills as they move through a dungeon or other locations towards the boss/goal.
Another is a card driven global domination game with players putting action points into categories (Military/Government/Economy) to overtake countries.
With production happening for new sports games at the moment, I shouldn't be considering anything new......or should I?? :)
