Houston is filthy and muggy and hot, but you will be hard pressed to find so many friendly people in one place. We also have the second-highest concentration of theater seats in the world (Broadway is first) and a beloved gay mayor (Annise Parker) currently in her second term.
Where Does Everyone Live?
In the mountains.
LA not Hogwarts lol
Adelaide, Australia (not Austria). :)
Edit: Whoops, looks like I awoke a Zombie thread.
braaaaaains
Netherlands for me, i have spotted a couple more dutchies, perhaps we should arange a playtesting meeting?
Shanghai
Adelaide.
Hat-on-a-stick do you have a open gaming group?
Northern California.
Because somebody sane has to.
Sweden here!
You can have Texas as long as I have the swedish bikini team, swedish knäckebröd and can pet all the polar bears I want.
I also get fairly jealous with you guys who are lucky enough to live in areas where you have regular cons to get together and meet other board game designers.
I feel the same way and I live in a town of 300 in Central Nebraska!
I did not respond to this thread... My answer is that I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
It's somewhere - but really nowhere. Toronto (Hamilton) has the Protospiel North... We got - Comic Con! :(
Nothing really for Board Games, apparently there is a GROUP that is somehow affiliated with the "Game Artisans of Canada". I'd really like to be a part of this group... Maybe get some *Blind* playtesting once my rulebook is completed (95% done).
But like larienna (another Montrealer) said, people here think Board Games are for kids... :(
Personally I'm more interested in *Card Games* than *Board Games*... but same difference.
I lived for years in the Rochester, New York area in the 'States and still own a home there. But recently my wife and I moved to New Zealand; who knows how long we'll be there?
I know there are some Kiwi's on here; where do you game most?
