Hey everyone!
So Black Table Games (my husband and I) are finally jumping into the group here with both feet!
It's just the two of us (if you don't count the cats) designing games out of our house in Washington state. We've both been doing this kind of thing for years but only in private. This is the first time either of us has tried to take it to a larger audience.
We've got two games that are close to production but we're hoping to build a community and spread the word a little (and game whatever feedback we can) before we finally pull the plug and start shipping.
We're also thinking of dipping into Kickstarter - so look out for that!
Check out our site (just blacktablegames) to see more about either of our two games. We'd LOVE to hear what you have to say!
Thanks!
The cats aren't as much help as you'd think. We know they're trying but there's only so much you can do without thumbs or an attention span.
We play test with friends, family, local groups, and we attend conventions like GameStorm that have game testing designed into them. It's one of the more challenging parts but everyone we know is into games so that helps.
