Hi. I've been gaming for roughly 17 years. Started with MMORPGs, moved on to console gaming and for the last 5-6 years table top gaming. I'm the mother to 3 kiddos who are 17, 10 and 2. I have ran a tournament called Lord of the Games for a local convention and I'm passionate about my hobby.
Recently I was struck by an idea for a game I want to make. So far I've got the theme, game mechanics ideas and component types. I'm just working on starting to actually work on some prototypes for the game. Still kind of learning where to go next and what to do. Lots of helpful people pointed me here and to some blogs by James Mathe and videos by Eduardo Baraf which is helping immensely. Looking forward to making this become a reality and getting to know more!
Thank you! I am familiar with BGG but I haven't checked out their game design areas. I'll give that a shot!
