Hi everyone, my name is Kyle and I'm new in here! I've been playing games for most of my life, but am new to game design. I've got a game idea that I've done a bit of development on and have produced an initial playtesting prototype. I think it's pretty solid, but still needs some work. It'll probably need to go through several iterations to get the balance right, I think. Anyway, I joined this community because I don't know what I'm doing and don't even really know what I'm missing! I'm sure I'll have some questions as I go through the whole design process. I guess I'll go post about my game itself now if I can find the right forum thread for that!
Hello! New member here with a game idea!

Hello kage23...
...and welcome to BGDF!
I see you've already posted something about the game idea you mention here, so I'll comment in that thread as well.
Hope you enjoy your time here. :)

hi.
if your new to game
hi.
if your new to game design there are lots of resources out there. obviously boardgamegeek is a great place to visit (im sure you have as a player). jamey stegmaiers blog is a good one (jameystegmaier.com), he's a successful designer/publisher who is very free with advice. there are also some excellent podcasts out there as well. i recommend the boardgame design lab and ludology (that ones good for the "science" of boardgames).
