Hi! I'm new here.
I recently left the video games industry after six and a half years to try my hand at making board games. I had started out in animation, but over the years design became a lot more interesting to me.
I joined BGDF because I'm very new at this and have a lot of questions on how to do things.
I look forward to talking to new people!
Welcome! It is interesting to see a few video game designers here. There is a wealth of helpful information here and i hope you can find answers you seek.
I must add, some of my personal favorite board games, such as Castle Panic and Battle at Kembles' Cascade are based on video game ideas. If you happen to be a video gamer playing such games they just seem to click.
