Hi,

My name is Matt and I'm working on a game that is at PnP stage now, looking for play testers. Its a bit like Munchkin but uses dice for the combat.

Looks like there is a LOT of good stuff to read here, just read through an article on downtime/ analysis paralysis which is something I am striving to avoid on this project.

Cards with double uses interest me at the moment as well

Multiple Card Uses

This is something I enjoy as well. Getting a card that can be used three different ways and the game allows me to pick which use is best is very fun.

Games like Summoner Wars that allow you to bank card for resources is a good example and that game did very well.

I guess my current WIP is like Summoner Wars, in my game you can bank cards in return for currency (quickSilver). Thanks for the info TBone... I'll have a closer look at that game to see if there are similarities with my game or not!

Cheers!

Another CCG/LCG To Look At

Scrolls. Came across this computer CCG not too long ago. The mechanic allows you to trash a card for "Mana" or a card draw. Interest, simple, and makes you feel in control!

Now I've lurked on your posts about Tradewars, Quest and I am not entirely sure if these "collectible card games" are a reflection of one of your mechanics but they are fun to look at nonetheless.
