The basic board design for my WIP train game Switchbacks and Side Tracks. Orange spaces are "Switchback" spaces, where players draw a card, and the double tracks are the Sidetrack spaces. This is the only place one player's train can pass another.
The idea is transporting cargo from each station pays more depending on the length of the run. Passengers from red pay the least, with yellow and blue paying more.
The trains all have set movement points, so there's no "roll and move" involved
