I am thinking about buying a game for my Alpha Playing Cards game system and I want to uy the rights to the game. Does anyone have a contract for buying the rights to a game, that I may copy to use or does anyone know where I could find a contract that I could use. I can get a lawyer to make one upfor me, but it will cost around $250.00 for one.

Well from what I know, $250.00 is well worth the money if you are buying a game and plan to attempt to resell it later.
But make sure the laywer includes items such as you gaining ownership of the name (make sure it is not trademarked, or if it is you gain ownership of the trademark with the purchase). They should also investigate any potential patents that might be registered to the game, which you should also own upon acceptance of your deal.
So to reiterate, if you lawyer is going to validate and handle any TMs, Patents or copyrights as part of their fee, I would again say it is WELL worth the $250.
Put if you just want to buy it for *the hell of it*, there must be some standard purchase agreement documents on the net, for instance here are two I found in about 2 minutes : Sample Online Purchase Agreement or Flat Purchase Agreement

The $250 is just for the contract. Since this game was created for a deck of cards that I created I'm not really worried about patents or tradenmarks. I was able to find a contract that I can use online. This cost me $6.00 . I went to www.findlegalforms.com and bought the Copyright Assigment form which transfers the rights of a copright from one owner to another.
