It's been a while since I posted an update on the Decktet. Lots of new games, plus new ways to play old games. I enjoy seeing what other people have done with it, and I think that some of the best Decktet games have been designed by other people.
Here are some of the developments since my last game journal post.
- Thanks to the guys at Spielbany, I got to playtest Felbrigg Herriot's game Varg Bid.
- Jeff Warrender suggested playing Lost Cities with the Decktet. After playing around with possibilities, I devised the game Emu Ranchers.
- Jack Neal (at BGG) made up solitaire versions of Quincunx and Jacynth.
- Jorge Arroyo started a Decktet wiki. People have already started posting new work-in-progress Decktet games.

Magnate resource tokens
Regarding Magnate: The print shop I've used for the latest runs of the Decktet now does cardboard counters. I've ordered counters depicting each of the six Decktet suits, which should be great as resource tokens in Magnate. I have some on order, and I'll make an announcement once I actually have them in hand.
Regarding Emu Ranchers: Wesley's online version is pretty slick.
Online play
I'd play Emu Ranchers online. Let me know when I can find you online.
My favorite Decktet game, so far, is Magnate. I've played almost 20 times.
