Today I took the time to actually photograph the initial simple game board set-up for a 2 player game of Stuff the Universe (STU) and also I wanted to some information about the game.
STU is a turn based eurostyle game where players will explore the space around them to amass the most victory points by the end of the game. Victory points are earned through the extermination of Aliens, colonization of planets, sales of resources/equipment and raiding other players colonies.
STU is family friendly where no one is ever eliminated from the game and we've worked very hard at ensuring that players that have sustained damage can continue to play the game as they want verse having to always repair their ship right after combat.
In STU no game board will ever be the same due to the fact that the sector tiles are shuffled and the players taking various paths throughout the universe to accomplish their goals. This has led some players to comment that they feel they have experienced different universes within the game.
Come out to see us on the 16th at UnPub or at Metopia on the 5th – 9th. I'd love to get your input and learn what appeals to you.
Additionally in Q1 or Q2 of 2017 look for us on Tabletopia as we'll be loading the game into the site to gather more people input on how it plays and what would make it better for our release in 2017 on KS or with a publisher (fingers crossed).
